   • Collected when you sign up for our beta or newsletter.
   • Used solely to let you know about feature updates, beta invites, or important announcements.
2. Usage Data
   • Automatically collected data (e.g., app version, timestamps, basic crash reports).
   • Helps us understand and improve performance, diagnose bugs, and prioritize features.
3. Device & Platform Info
   • Device type, operating system, app build number.
   • Used to ensure compatibility and debug issues across platforms.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Beta Invitations & Updates
  We'll email you only about ClipShuttle's beta program and major feature releases.
• App Improvement
  Usage and crash data inform our development roadmap and help us fix bugs faster.
• Security & Abuse Prevention
  Basic logs help detect unusual activity, protect against spam, and maintain system integrity.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell or rent your personal data. We may share information only in these cases:

• Service Providers
  Trusted partners (Supabase, Firebase, & Sentry) who help host, analyze, or secure data—under strict confidentiality.
• Legal Requirements
  If required by law or to protect our rights, we may disclose data to authorities.

5. Data Retention

• Email Addresses
  Retained until you delete your account. If you need help doing so, contact me using the email address below!
• Sent/Received Data Retention
  We store data securely using Supabase (read next section). You have full control over your data & can delete any sent/received content by using the 'delete' icon on each item. You can also delete your account fully in settings to get rid of all data.
• Usage & Crash Logs
  Stored for up to 12 months, then automatically purged.

6. Security Measures

• End-to-End Encryption
  All user-generated content (text, links, images) is encrypted on your device before upload—only you hold the keys.
• Secure Transport
  We use HTTPS/TLS for all network communication.
• Minimal Access
  Our team cannot read your encrypted content; we store only ciphertext on our servers.

7. Children's Privacy

ClipShuttle is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we've inadvertently gathered data from someone under 13, we'll delete it promptly.

8. Your Choices & Rights

• Unsubscribe
  Click "Unsubscribe" in any email, or email us at privacy@ctrlv.app to stop all marketing communications.
• Access & Deletion
  You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it entirely by contacting privacy@ctrlv.app. We'll respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally (for example, to reflect new features). When we do, we'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you via email.
